Part-Time Route Driver

LilyPad Septic & Portable Restrooms is hiring part-time route drivers in Salina.

This is a route job. You'll drive a service truck to job sites around the Salina area including construction sites, events, farms, rural properties, to deliver clean and pickup portable restrooms. You'll load and stock your truck in the morning, run your route, and restock and refuel your truck at the end of the day.

The Schedule

You'll work the same two days every week, either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday, and roughly every fourth week you'll pick up a Friday. Routes are built to finish in a normal workday (8-10 hours on average). Your schedule is published a week ahead of time, and if something comes up you can trade days with another tech. A few times a year some larger events require evening and weekend services. These are scheduled in advance and distributed across the team.

What We're Looking For

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Comfortable driving a larger truck (no CDL required)
• Able to work outdoors in heat, cold, and rain
• Able to lift 50 lbs and handle hoses and equipment throughout the day
• Shows up when scheduled and finishes the route

Being Straight With You

This is dirty work. You're servicing portable toilets. It smells, it's physical, and some days the weather is miserable. Most people who don't last quit because they didn't expect that, so we'd rather tell you now.
