Vacuum Truck Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Vacuum Truck Operator to join our incredible team. We are a environmental services company, focused on stormwater management. You will be cleaning a variety of storm water structures using a Vactor 2100.

We are a family operated company with 29 years in business.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive a the Vactor to designated locations. Clean stormwater structures. Drive through traffic and disposal site.
• Unload the waste at the disposal site.
• Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and cargo details as required by the company and regulatory agencies.
• Communicate with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays throughout the day as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the well-being of yourself and others on the road.

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being driven.
• Proven experience in commercial driving; experience with tanker, dump truck, refrigerated trailer, or flatbed is preferred.
• Strong understanding of route driving techniques and navigation skills.
• Excellent time management skills with a commitment to punctuality.
• Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) as required during loading/unloading processes.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and dispatchers.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
