Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Roll-Off Driver to join our team on an as-needed, on-call basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating commercial trucks to deliver and pick up roll-off containers efficiently and safely. This role requires adherence to DOT regulations and a strong focus on safety, customer service, and timely deliveries.

Duties

• Operate commercial trucks to transport roll-off containers to various locations according to schedule and customer needs.
• Safely load, unload, and secure containers during transit, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Deliver containers to designated sites, ensuring timely and accurate service.
• Collect and return containers as required, maintaining cleanliness and proper condition of equipment.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company policies related to vehicle operation, safety, and transportation procedures.
• Perform routine inspections of trucks and equipment before and after trips, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered during routes.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operating roll-off trucks.
• Proven experience in commercial truck driving and delivery services.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations governing commercial vehicle operation.
• Ability to operate heavy-duty trucks safely and efficiently under various conditions.
• Strong attention to safety protocols and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with clients and team members.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis, demonstrating flexibility in scheduling as needed.
