Compensation & Earning Potential

• Training Pay: $19.00/hour during basic training.
• Captain Pay: $20.00/hour immediately after you are cleared to run the truck on your own. Once you're closing jobs without assistance from the bosses, you earn a commission on every job!
• Fast-Track Growth: Potential to reach $23.00/hour + commission within your first three months based on work ethic, sales, and customer service skills.
• Top Earning Potential: Base can go upwards of $25.00/hour + commission once you consistently prove your value to the team.
• Overtime Pay: You earn 1.5x pay for every hour over 40 in a week!
• Tips & Bonuses: Keep 100% of customer tips (split equally with your helper—and you’ll get tipped very frequently!). Earn extra bonuses for securing online reviews, landing big jobs, and more!

Schedule

• Start Time: 7am is usually expected, but occasionally we start at 8-9am.
• Shift Length: 10-12 hour shifts are common (plenty of opportunity to make a lot of money and earn commission!)

What You Will Do as a Truck Captain

• Drive & Lead: Safely operate one of our Isuzu or Hino dump trucks (NO CDL REQUIRED), and keep your team in check.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate professionally with customers, give in-person quotes, and confidently explain our services.
• Heavy Hauling: Lift and maneuver heavy objects through tight spaces, maintaining full attention to your surroundings to ensure absolutely no damage is done to the customer’s property.
• Logistics & Route Management: Maximize truck space by keeping the load organized, and execute efficient dump runs to local transfer stations.

Qualities We Look For

• Good Customer Service: This is extremely important to us. We built our company on delivering an amazing customer experience. You must be good with words, an active listener, and capable of sympathizing with customers during sensitive cleanouts.
• Fit for the Job: This is a physical role. You must be highly active and capable of heavy lifting all day.
• Reliable: You show up on time for every scheduled shift and put your best effort in every single day.
• Common Sense: You have great problem-solving skills, work well with your team, and know how to organize a truck bed efficiently.

Requirements

• Age: You must be 18 years or older.
• Driver's License: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are 100% required.
• DOT Medical Card: You must pass the DOT medical test to get your DOT medical card (we pay for it!)
• Fluent English: You must speak fluent English, since you'll be communicating with customers and giving quotes every day.
• Lifting: You must be able to lift 75 pounds repetitively over the course of the day.
• Smartphone: You must have a working smartphone.
• Transportation: You must have a reliable way to get to work.

Work Uniform & Gear

• Footwear: Steel-toe or composite-toe boots are required (we provide a yearly budget for you to buy them!)
• Apparel: We provide company shirts and hoodies. You wear your own jeans, cargo, or work pants.
• Safety Gear: We provide cut-resistant gloves, plus respirators, hazmat suits, and special equipment when needed.
