FULL-TIME CDL DRIVER- REAR-LOAD TRASH TRUCK

We are looking for a dependable, experienced Full-Time CDL Driver to join our team.

REAR-LOAD TRASH TRUCK DRIVING EXPERIENCE IS STRONGLY PREFERRED.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating a rear-load refuse/trash truck and be comfortable working residential and commercial collection routes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a rear-load trash/recycling truck
• Drive residential and commercial collection routes
• Work closely with helpers as a team to complete routes safely and efficiently
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain safe driving and collection practices
• Properly operate rear-load compaction equipment
• Maintain a professional attitude with customers and coworkers

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL required
• Clean and safe driving record
• Rear-load trash truck experience strongly preferred
• Previous refuse, waste, recycling, or similar commercial driving experience is a major plus
• Must be dependable and report to work on time
• Must be comfortable with the physical demands of refuse collection
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Must be able to work well as part of a crew

Position: Full-Time
Location: Birdsboro, PA
Schedule: Day shift / Local routes
Home daily – No overnight driving

We are a locally owned and operated company serving the Birdsboro area since 1971. We are looking for someone who wants a steady, long-term position and takes pride in being dependable and doing the job right.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
