Demolition Laborer – Full-Time

Power Component Systems, Inc. (PCS) is immediately hiring Demolition Laborers for our Henrico, VA division.

PCS provides demolition, environmental, and construction services throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. We are looking for dependable, safety-minded employees who are comfortable with physical work, travel, and changing job-site conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior demolition.
• Remove and move construction materials and debris.
• Assist with job-site setup and cleanup.
• Use hand and power tools when trained.
• Follow supervisor instructions and safety requirements.
• Assist with environmental and specialty projects when trained.
• Travel to different job sites as required.

Requirements

• Must be 18 or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable personal transportation to job sites.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Able to perform physical labor for extended periods.
• Comfortable working indoors/outdoors in heat, cold, dust, and changing conditions.
• Flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, and weekends when required.
• Willing to travel throughout MD, DC, VA, and DE.
• Able to meet federal/secured site requirements.
• Must follow safety and drug-free workplace requirements.
• At least 1 year of demolition, construction, restoration, environmental remediation, or related hands-on labor experience.

Preferred

• OSHA 10 or related safety training.
• Asbestos or other environmental certifications.

This is physically demanding field work that may involve heavy lifting, dust, noise, travel, early start times, and changing schedules.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
