JUST JUNK is a rapidly growing junk removal company looking for ambitious, results-driven individuals with the potential to become our next operational leaders.

Our Assistant Manager in Training program offers a hands-on introduction to sales, customer experience, and daily operations, followed by a structured 90-day leadership development track.

You'll start on the truck, master the business from the ground up, and have the opportunity to earn your way into management through demonstrated performance, accountability, and leadership.

No previous junk removal experience required. We're looking for the right attitude, work ethic, and leadership potential.

Compensation & Career Growth

• $45,000–$75,000+ Annual On-Target Earnings (OTE)

OTE represents estimated annual earnings combining base pay and variable compensation. Actual earnings depend on hours worked, performance, commissions, bonuses, and tips.

What You'll Do Day to Day

• Work alongside your crew loading, lifting, hauling, and safely disposing of unwanted items
• Operate company vehicles once qualified
• Conduct on-site estimates, communicate pricing, and close sales
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build positive customer relationships
• Identify opportunities to drive revenue, earn positive reviews, and grow the business
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized trucks, equipment, and job sites
• Demonstrate initiative, accountability, and leadership on every job

Your 90-Day Leadership Development Track

Our program is designed to identify and develop high-performing individuals with the potential to become successful operational leaders.

You'll receive hands-on training, performance feedback, and formal check-ins at 30, 60, and 90 days. Progress is evaluated through sales performance, customer satisfaction, safety, reliability, teamwork, and demonstrated leadership potential.

Phase 1: Operational Excellence | Days 1–30

• Master our customer service, sales, and junk removal processes
• Learn to operate company vehicles and manage daily job responsibilities
• Develop on-site estimating, customer communication, and closing skills
• Understand operational standards, safety procedures, and performance expectations
• Lead by example through professionalism, accountability, and consistent results

Phase 2: Team Leadership | Days 31–60

• Begin taking ownership of daily jobs and crew performance
• Develop coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Help train, motivate, and support new team members
• Drive customer satisfaction, positive reviews, and revenue growth
• Demonstrate the ability to make decisions, take initiative, and hold yourself and others accountable

Phase 3: Management Readiness | Days 61–90

• Develop skills in scheduling, dispatching, and operational coordination
• Support team accountability, efficiency, and daily performance targets
• Learn the fundamentals of hiring, training, and employee development
• Work alongside management to understand business operations and profitability
• Demonstrate readiness for increased responsibility and operational leadership
• Be evaluated for advancement into an Assistant Manager position based on performance, leadership ability, and business needs

Advancement is performance-based and is not guaranteed within 90 days.

What We're Looking For

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
• Competitive, results-driven mindset with natural leadership potential
• Experience in sales, customer service, logistics, or team leadership is an asset
• Ability to take ownership, solve problems, and perform under pressure
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to take initiative
• Desire to grow professionally and take on greater responsibility

Previous supervisory or management experience is an asset, but not required. We value performance, character, and potential.

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding, hands-on position. Candidates must be able to:

• Safely lift and carry 50+ lbs repeatedly, working with a partner for heavier or bulky items
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and humidity
• Climb stairs, carry items between floors, and remain on their feet for extended periods
• Bend, kneel, push, pull, and haul items throughout the workday
• Work safely around dust, debris, and cluttered job sites

Candidates who will operate company vehicles must successfully complete a DOT physical.
