Job Description
Job Purpose
The Commercial CSR/Dispatcher for CWS plays a vital role for the Commercial Team. They are responsible for providing efficient administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our commercial waste management services. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining excellent customer relationships, supporting sales efforts, coordinating waste collection and disposal activities, managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with regulations, and overseeing administrative processes.
Duties and Responsibilities
As the Commercial CSR/Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operations by overseeing various administrative tasks, including customer service, sales, dispatch coordination, accounts receivable/payable management, asset management, report generation, and document and procedure maintenance.
- Customer Service and Sales
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Serve as the main point of contact for escalated customer inquiries and coordinate with internal teams to address customer needs promptly.
- Maintain sales records, update customer accounts, and provide exceptional sales tactics.
- Prepare and assist in the completion of quotes and proposals for all new and existing customers.
- Logistics and Disposal
- Manages the scheduling and tracking of waste collection and disposal activities, ensuring timely service and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate with drivers to ensure efficient scheduling and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Monitor Roll-Off inventory daily and coordinate with team members to ensure the availability of containers for efficient waste management operations.
- Track and monitor Roll Offs to ensure accurate placement of all containers.
- Prepare and maintain manifests and profiles in preparation for waste transport and disposal, ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies.
- Serve as a point of contact for drivers and other team members to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Training and Procedures:
- Assist in the training and onboarding of new employees, particularly in customer service and administrative procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of standard operating procedures, policies, and guidelines specific to County Waste Service.
- Ensure that all team members have access to accurate and relevant documents and provide updates as necessary.
Qualifications
Qualifications include:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in customer service, sales support, and administrative roles.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using office software applications (e.g., MS Office, spreadsheets, databases).
- Knowledge of accounting principles and experience with accounts receivable/payable functions.
- Familiarity with waste management, logistics, or related industries is a plus.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Working Conditions
The Commercial CSR/Dispatcher may work in various conditions and can be exposed to extreme heat, cold, humidity, precipitation, dusty conditions, mechanical parts, electrical hazards, hazardous chemicals, and noxious fumes and odors in both indoor and outdoor environments. Travel and working in various locations may be required occasionally.
