Duties

• Safely operate front loader garbage trucks to collect waste from designated routes, adhering to all safety protocols and traffic laws
• Load waste containers using the truck’s mechanical arms, ensuring proper handling of heavy loads and minimizing spillage or damage
• Conduct routine inspections of the truck before and after shifts, checking for mechanical issues or safety concerns
• Maintain accurate records of pickups, route completion times, and any issues encountered during the shift
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate pickups and resolve operational challenges promptly

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL license
• Basic mechanical knowledge of front loader truck
• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience operating heavy-duty vehicles such as dump trucks and tractor-trailers preferred
• Familiarity with different truck types including front loader, rear loader,
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and waste collection processes
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high energy levels and focus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.50 - $28.70 per hour
