Job Description

Scrap City Delray Beach is looking for a dependable and hard-working Yard Worker to join our scrap metal recycling team. This is a hands-on position working outdoors in a fast-paced environment. If you’re reliable, willing to learn, and not afraid of physical work, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Sort, move, and process scrap metal materials
• Assist customers unloading material
• Keep the yard clean, safe, and organized
• Follow safety rules and company procedures
• Work with equipment and tools as needed (training provided)
• Support other yard and operations staff as required

Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift heavy materials
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Experience in a scrap metal yard or recycling industry is preferred, but not required — we will train the right candidate

Preferred (Not Required)

• Prior yard, construction, warehouse, or scrap metal experience
• Forklift or heavy equipment experience (a plus)

Scrap City Delray Beach está buscando un Trabajador de Patio responsable y trabajador para unirse a nuestro equipo de reciclaje de metales. Este es un trabajo físico, al aire libre, en un ambiente activo. Si eres puntual, responsable y tienes ganas de aprender, queremos conocerte.

Responsabilidades

• Clasificar, mover y procesar materiales de metal
• Ayudar a los clientes a descargar material
• Mantener el patio limpio, seguro y organizado
• Seguir las normas de seguridad
• Usar herramientas y equipos (entrenamiento incluido)
• Apoyar al equipo según sea necesario

Requisitos

• Capacidad para trabajar al aire libre
• Capacidad para levantar peso
• Responsable y puntual
• Ganas de aprender
• Experiencia en patios de chatarra o reciclaje es preferida, pero no requerida — ofrecemos entrenamiento

Preferido (No Requerido)

• Experiencia previa en patios, construcción o almacén
• Experiencia con montacargas (forklift)
