Vacuum Truck Operator

Ganim Company is a growing underground utility and infrastructure contractor looking for a dependable, safety-focused Vacuum Truck Operator to join our team. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a vacuum excavation (hydrovac) truck.
• Perform non-destructive excavation around underground utilities.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Set up and maintain safe work zones.
• Work closely with utility companies, municipalities, and construction crews.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety procedures.
• Complete daily paperwork and electronic documentation.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and report maintenance needs.
• Travel to various job sites throughout Northeast Ohio and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL (Class A preferred).
• Clean driving record.
• Previous vacuum truck, hydrovac, construction, utility, excavation, or heavy equipment experience preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude.
• Must be a member of the union or be eligible and willing to join upon hire.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

• Hydrovac or vacuum truck operation
• Underground utilities
• Directional drilling support
• Construction or excavation
• Traffic control and job site safety
• Heavy equipment operation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $36.49 per hour
