Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Removes, transports, and disposes of approved, pre-qualified, non-hazardous liquids and sludges from automotive and industrial processes.
• Cleans out oil/water separators, sumps, trench drains.
• Pumps out of open top drums, cleanout of large industrial equipment, sizeable aqueous cleaning equipment and handles clean-up of wastewater streams from manufacturing plants.
• Handles customer spill clean up in compliance with all rules, regulations, and laws of the State, Federal, and other regulatory agencies pertaining to motor vehicle operation and used oil handling.\
• Able to evaluate customer needs, determine proper estimate for services needed and handle removal of customer waste as per service estimate.
• Perform sales calls and are capable of researching and establishing service with commercial businesses such as auto/tire dealerships, body shops, rental car companies, fleet management facilities, and engine repair shops.
• Perform sales calls and capable of researching and establishing service with industrial businesses such as manufacturing and power plants, metal fabricators, mining operations and machining facilities.

Qualifications

• 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
• 2 years experience in similar position of service work.
• Must be able to operate a manual transmission.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License Class A with hazmat/tanker endorsement.
• Valid Medical Certificate.
• Some travel and overnight/out-of-area work required

Physical Demands/Working Conditions

• Physical activity includes bending, reaching, stretching, climbing in/out of tractors and on top of tanks in addition to various conditions dependent upon customer location/limitations.
• Able to work in inclement weather such as rain or cold for long periods of time.
• Capable of lifting, pushing, pulling and/or moving less than 100 pounds to over 600 pounds using proper equipment and safe techniques minimizing risk of injury.
