Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled CDL Vacuum Truck Driver and Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate specialized vacuum trucks to perform excavation, utility work, and site cleanup across various construction projects. Duties

• Safely operate vacuum trucks, water trucks, excavators, loaders, and other heavy construction machinery in compliance with federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures
• Perform excavation, construction grading, utility locating, and site cleanup tasks with precision and attention to detail
• Conduct routine maintenance and mechanical inspections on vacuum trucks and related equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Assist with construction utility work including water line installation, horizontal drilling, and site utility connections
• Follow all safety regulations during equipment operation and construction activities, maintaining a secure work environment
• Support construction site activities by operating heavy machinery such as Caterpillar equipment, excavators, and loaders as needed
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate project tasks efficiently while adhering to construction safety standards

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial truck driving, heavy equipment operation, or construction utility work
• Knowledge of construction machinery maintenance and equipment safety procedures
• Familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques and excavation processes
• Construction site experience with a focus on utility installation or infrastructure projects
• Ability to locate underground utilities using utility locating tools and techniques
• Understanding of federal construction safety regulations and OSHA standards related to heavy equipment operation
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic repairs and routine maintenance on trucks and machinery
