Truck & Dumpster Trailer Driver — San Diego County

Heverly & Sons Dumpster Rentals is hiring a dependable driver to deliver and pick up dumpster trailers throughout San Diego County. You’ll drive our company-owned Chevy Silverado 2500 HD and tow our 15-yard dumpster trailers.

We’re a locally owned, veteran-owned business looking for someone who drives safely, takes care of equipment, and treats customers well.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, position, and pick up dumpster trailers at homes and construction sites.
• Safely tow and back trailers into driveways and tight spaces.
• Transport loads to approved disposal facilities and keep disposal receipts.
• Secure loads and inspect the truck, hitch, tires, lights, and trailers.
• Communicate with customers and dispatch about arrival times and job status.
• Keep equipment clean and report maintenance needs.
• Identify opportunities to bring in new customers and earn commission.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the truck and trailer combination.
• Driving record acceptable to our insurance provider.
• Experience towing and backing trailers.
• Dependable attendance, punctuality, and clear communication.
• Ability to handle tarps, trailer connections, and outdoor work.
• Familiarity with San Diego County roads is helpful.
• Dumpster, construction, hauling, or equipment delivery experience preferred.

Training, Pay & Benefits

• In-person training on our equipment, safe loading and unloading, delivery procedures, disposal runs, and customer service.
• Competitive base pay based on experience.
• Daily per diem for meals and snacks on workdays.
• Extra pay for weekend and holiday work.
• Commission for bringing in new business. Earn additional commission on qualifying completed and paid rentals from new customers you refer. Rates, referral credit, and payment timing will be outlined in a written commission plan.

Required Availability — Non-Negotiable

Applicants must be available to work every date below. These are mandatory workdays for scheduled customer commitments:

• November 2026: 2, 9, 10, 15, 25
• December 2026: 2, 3, 17, 24, 31
• January 2027: 8, 15, 30
• February 2027: 6, 20, 21
