Trash Truck Driver

Carolina Trash & Septic is looking to hire a CDL driver to help with our trash routes. We are looking for someone to drive a rear load or side load garbage truck. Routes begin between 4am and 6am Monday through Friday.

Will provide 40-50 hours weekly depending on on candidates schedule and how many hours potential candidate would like per week. Pay is weekly on Friday.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of trash trucks, including rear loader, to collect waste efficiently.
• Perform heavy lifting and manual unloading of waste materials as required.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean driving record.
• Conduct daily pre&post trip inspections and report issues to staff.
• Communicate effectively with team members and dispatch to coordinate collection routes.
• Maintain accurate records of waste collection and report any issues encountered during operations.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Proven experience in commercial driving
• Familiarity with operating rear loader
• Mechanical knowledge related to truck maintenance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.50 - $25.00 per hour
