Compost Connection in Grandview, MO is looking for a motivated Helper/Thrower to join our yard waste team! This is a hands-on, outdoor role where you'll play a key part in keeping our community clean and green. If you love physical work and making a difference in your neighborhood, this is the job for you.
**Ensure that the resume you submit is your most recent version with up-to-date work history and a working phone number.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the collection and loading of yard waste materials including leaves, branches, and grass clippings
  • Throw and haul yard debris onto collection vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
  • Work alongside drivers to complete daily residential and commercial routes
  • Follow all safety protocols when lifting, throwing, and handling yard waste
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the truck and at job sites
  • Communicate effectively with crew members to ensure timely route completion
  • Time in BEFORE 6:15am. No set time off. The day is done when all routes are complete.
  • Overtime in the busy seasons. We work year-round.
Requirements:
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor in all weather conditions
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to report for early morning shifts
  • Strong work ethic with a team-first attitude
  • Previous experience in waste collection, landscaping, or labor is a plus
  • Ability to keep up with a fast-paced, physically demanding route schedule
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and throw debris for extended periods throughout the shift
**You must be able to work well with others, as well as listen to/take direction from supervisors, manager's and drivers.
