Job Description

Built for Competitive People.

Camo Crew is a veteran-owned junk removal company built on discipline, accountability, and execution.

We are looking for individuals who want to grow into leadership — not sit on the sidelines.

This role is designed for people with a competitive background (sports, military, high-performance environments) who are coachable, dependable, and willing to earn responsibility.

You won’t start behind a desk.

In fact, this isn't a path to a desk job.

You’ll work in the field, learning the business from the ground up.

What This Role Actually Is

This is a hands-on leadership development role.

You'll learn the business from the ground up by doing the work, then develop into someone capable of leading the people and operations around you.

What This Role Actually Is

This is a hands-on leadership development role.

You'll begin by working alongside our Service Team:

  • Performing physically demanding junk removal
  • Learning how jobs are executed from start to finish
  • Developing exceptional customer service skills
  • Learning to safely operate company vehicles and equipment
  • Completing our Service Team training program
  • Developing leadership skills in real situations

As you demonstrate capability, you'll earn opportunities to take on greater responsibility and progress toward:

Driver→ Crew Chief → Service Manager Trainee → Service Manager

Advancement is earned through training, performance, dependability, leadership, and your ability to consistently meet Camo Crew's standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Work on active residential and commercial job sites
  • Remove, carry, load, sort, and recover items
  • Interact directly with customers
  • Operate company vehicles as qualified
  • Learn how to lead jobs and crews
  • Solve problems in fast-moving environments
  • Take ownership of job execution and customer experience
  • Complete self-paced training designed to prepare you for Crew Chief and future leadership responsibilities
  • Take on increasing responsibility as you demonstrate readiness

This role is physical, fast-paced, customer-facing and team-oriented.

Leadership at Camo Crew Is Hands-On

Moving into leadership does not mean leaving the physical work behind.

Our Service Managers lead from the field. They remain actively involved in junk removal, work alongside their teams, interact with customers, solve problems on job sites, and hold crews accountable to our standards.

The responsibility grows as you advance. The expectation to work hard alongside your team remains.

What Success Looks Like

Top trainees:

  • Show up consistently and on time
  • Take coaching and apply it quickly
  • Work with urgency without sacrificing quality or safety
  • Step into leadership situations without always being asked
  • Earn the trust of teammates and leaders
  • Communicate professionally with customers
  • Take ownership of results, not just assigned tasks
  • Actively pursue training and development opportunities
  • Want to get better and take on more responsibility

Who This Is For

You’ll likely succeed if you:

  • Have a competitive mindset and enjoy being challenged
  • Are coachable and open to direct feedback
  • Want responsibility and career growth
  • Enjoy physically demanding work
  • Take pride in being dependable
  • Want to lead by example
  • Enjoy working as part of a team
  • Are comfortable being held accountable to clear standards
  • Want your performance to determine how quickly you advance

Who This Is Not For

This probably isn't the right fit if you:

  • Expect to immediately step into a management position
  • Want leadership because you're looking to get away from physical work
  • Struggle with accountability or direct feedback
  • Prefer low expectations or minimal structure
  • Don't enjoy working closely with a team
  • Aren't interested in earning greater responsibility through performance

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding position.

You must be able to:

  • Regularly lift and carry 50+ lbs
  • Move furniture, appliances, debris, and other household or commercial items
  • Work on your feet for the majority of the day
  • Navigate stairs and varying job-site conditions
  • Work indoors and outdoors in changing Wisconsin weather
  • Perform physical work throughout the entire shift

These physical expectations continue as employees advance into Crew Chief and Service Manager positions.

Driving Requirements

Operating company vehicles is an important part of the Service Team leadership path.

To meet Camo Crew's vehicle insurance requirements, candidates must:

  • Hold a valid driver's license
  • Have at least three years of driving experience beyond a probationary driver's license
  • Maintain a driving record that meets company and insurance requirements

Compensation & Growth

Camo Crew provides a defined path for employees who want to develop their skills, increase their earnings, and grow into leadership.

Your progression is based on what you demonstrate—not simply how long you've worked here.

Development includes:

  • Structured Service Team training
  • Crew Chief development
  • Advanced Crew Chief training
  • Hands-on leadership experience
  • Coaching and mentorship from Camo Crew leaders
  • Performance-based advancement toward Service Manager Trainee and Service Manager responsibilities

We promote from within.

This is a build-your-career role, not a placeholder job.

Benefits

  • Health insurance
  • Referral program
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • Leadership development and training
  • Clear advancement opportunities

Ready to Compete?

We're looking for someone who wants to work hard, be coached, take on responsibility, and earn the opportunity to lead.

If you want a management title without doing the work alongside your team, this isn't the position for you.

If you want to build a career through performance, physical work, leadership, and continuous improvement, we want to meet you.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Benefits:

  • Health insurance
  • Referral program
  • Tuition reimbursement

Application Question(s):

  • Do you have an active and clean drivers license?
  • Are you comfortable with physically demanding work?
  • Tell us about a time you were part of a competitive team (sports, work, etc.). What role did you play?
  • Tell us about a time you received feedback and had to adjust quickly.
