Septic Truck Driver/Technician

Overview
We are seeking a reliable Septic Truck Driver/Technician to join our team. This role involves operating specialized trucks to service septic systems, ensuring efficient and safe waste removal. The ideal candidate will possess safe driving skills, ( an MVR report and DOT physical are required.) Prior experience in commercial driving, route driving, and load & unload operations is highly valued. This position offers an opportunity to work with a professional team dedicated to providing essential services with safety and efficiency.

Duties

• Operate septic trucks at both commercial and residential customers between 8 and 11 hours per day.
• Load and unload waste materials safely at the local sewer plant.
• Conduct daily inspections of trucks and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance, reporting truck conditions or inadequacies.
• Follow designated routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, waste disposal, and vehicle maintenance logs
• Greet and treat every customer in a respectable manner, answering questions and customer concerns, and explaining the findings of the problem to the customer.

Skills

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements for tanker
• Experience with larger trucks preferable,(dump trucks, roll-off trucks)
• Proven driving experience in route driving, delivery driving, or similar roles involving load & unload operations
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as digging, dragging hoses, lifting heavy lids, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions

This position requires a dedicated professional committed to safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service. Prior experience with commercial driving equipment such as freight trucks or septic service vehicles will be advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $80,000.00 per year
