About the Role

We are a locally owned septic service company seeking a dependable Septic Service Technician / Pumper to perform residential septic pumping, maintenance, and system support.

This position combines driving, hands-on service work, and customer interaction. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, and comfortable working directly with homeowners while maintaining clean and professional job sites.

Responsibilities

• Pump, Inspect and Service residential septic tanks and systems
• Operate pump truck and related service equipment
• Drive assigned vehicle to and from job sites throughout King, Pierce, and Thurston Counties
• Inspect and assist in identifying septic system issues
• Clean and maintain septic systems, sewer lines, and related structures
• Perform hand digging and site access work when needed
• Maintain accurate service records and site documentation
• Communicate clearly with customers and office/dispatch

Required Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class B (required) Class A (preferred)
• Tanker endorsement (required)
• Valid medical card
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Willingness to work 40+ hours per week
• Reliable transportation to report to yard daily
• Ability to work outdoors and perform physical tasks
• Strong communication and customer service skills

This position is best suited for individuals who are dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a residential service environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of septic systems and repair
• Experience operating vacuum trucks or similar equipment
• Excavator experience or certification
• OSM or Master Installer certification (King, Pierce, or Thurston County)
• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
