Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate a roll-off truck to load, transport, and deliver large open-top containers to customer locations, disposal sites, and recycling facilities.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is safe and in proper working condition.
• Comply with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while operating the vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding assignments, delivery routes, schedule changes, and other instructions.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or accidents.
• Ensure containers are handled, secured, and transported safely and properly.
• Keep the truck clean and well-maintained, and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service at all times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Valid Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with an air brake endorsement, as required.
• Clean driving record and a strong commitment to safe driving practices.
• Salary based on roll-off experience. A minimum of two years of experience operating roll-off trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles is preferred.
• Compensation will be based on experience, particularly prior roll-off truck experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Dependable, reliable, punctual, and trustworthy, with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
