Roll-Off & Residential Trash Driver

We are looking for a dependable, safety-focused Roll-Off & Residential Trash Driver to join our team. This is a hybrid driving position, with responsibilities split between operating roll-off trucks for container deliveries, pickups, and exchanges and driving residential routes to collect household waste.

The ideal candidate is an experienced professional driver who takes pride in providing reliable customer service, operating equipment safely, and keeping trucks and work areas in good condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate roll-off trucks to deliver, pick up, and exchange containers.
• Operate residential trash collection vehicles on assigned routes.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Secure and transport containers and collected materials safely.
• Follow assigned routes, schedules, and company procedures.
• Safely maneuver trucks in residential neighborhoods, driveways, job sites, and commercial areas.
• Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch.
• Report equipment issues, safety concerns, damaged containers, and route problems.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck and work area.
• Follow all applicable DOT, OSHA, and company safety requirements.
• Assist with other duties as needed to support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL), as required for the assigned equipment.
• Clean and safe driving record.
• Previous roll-off, residential waste, CDL, or heavy-truck driving experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate large trucks in tight residential and commercial areas.
• Strong attendance and reliability.
• Ability to work independently while following established routes and procedures.
• Professional attitude and good customer-service skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with waste collection when needed.

We want someone who is reliable, safety-conscious, hardworking, and flexible. Because this is a hybrid position, the successful candidate must be comfortable switching between roll-off work and residential collection routes based on the needs of the operation.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
