Roll Off Driver

Waste Solutions Inc. is seeking a dependable, experienced, CDL Class B Driver to drive a Roll-Off Truck Driver to join our team. This position involves delivering, picking up, and exchanging roll-off dumpsters at residential, commercial, and construction locations throughout Northwest Indiana.

Qualified candidates must have a Class B CDL or higher and be capable of operating a manual transmission truck. We are looking for a safety-conscious, hardworking individual who takes pride in their work, provides good customer service, and is very dependable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, pick up, and exchange roll-off dumpsters at customer locations.
• Safely operate roll-off trucks equipped with manual transmissions.
• Properly load, secure, tarp, and transport containers.
• Navigate construction sites, commercial properties, and residential locations safely.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain communication with dispatch regarding daily routes and service needs.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
• Maintain assigned equipment in a clean and professional condition.

Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL or Class A CDL required.
• Manual transmission driving ability required – no automatic transmission-only restriction.
• Valid DOT medical certification.
• Acceptable driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements.
• Experience operating roll-off trucks preferred.
• Ability to safely maneuver trucks in confined areas and challenging job sites.
• Dependable attendance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
• Ability to perform physical duties associated with roll-off container operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 48.0 – 58.0 per week
