Duties

• Assist truck drivers with loading and unloading waste containers from residential properties, ensuring proper handling and placement
• Support the operation of rear load garbage trucks.
• Perform manual lifting of trash bins and debris, adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting
• Help with the safe loading and securing of waste materials on different truck types during collection routes
• Conduct routine inspections of trucks and equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards
• Follow established safety procedures during all activities to prevent injuries and ensure compliance with regulations
• Support the driver in navigating routes efficiently while maintaining a focus on customer service and community respect

Skills
