About the Role: The Operations Manager is responsible for supervising routing activities of Residential Drivers, Front Load Drivers, Roll Off Drivers, and Container Delivery Drivers. This role works with customer service, dispatch, HR, and other applicable departments to ensure daily operations are sustained. The Operations Manager ensures compliance to all safety, environmental, regulatory, ethics, and other operational standards.
Responsibilities:
· Support and execute daily routing expectations
· Create and improve routes to maximize productivity and efficiency.
· Maintain productivity goals; ensure adherence to operating standards; and manage labor hours and disposal expenses per guidance.
· Recruit, interview, hire, train and discipline all commercial front-line personnel.
· Oversee safety and accident prevention programs to ensure actions are taken to prevent accidents and injuries.
· Schedule, plan, and conduct safety meetings (weekly).
· Work with drivers and sales team to remove unsafe conditions from drivers’ routes
· Be familiar with and ensure compliance with all CDL driver regulations.
· Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
· Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
· Prior experience in the waste industry or transportation industry and/or experience driving trucks preferred
· 1 year of lead or supervisory experience (minimum)
· Process and results-oriented in setting and pursuing goals
· Demonstrates problem-solving, analytical, critical-thinking and decision-making skills.
· Demonstrates and promotes ethical behavior.

Pay: $92,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
