Moving and Junk Removal Team Lead

About the Role

We’re looking for a dependable, hardworking leader to serve as a Captain for our moving and junk removal crews. Captains lead by example, oversee daily jobs, ensure safe and efficient operations, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate crew members throughout daily jobs.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers.
• Perform hands-on moving, lifting, loading, unloading, and junk removal.
• Ensure furniture, belongings, and property are handled safely and carefully.
• Maintain clean, organized trucks and equipment.
• Ensure jobs are completed efficiently and all required paperwork is accurate.
• Follow safety procedures and report any accidents, damage, or customer concerns.
• Communicate with management regarding team performance and job updates.
• Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Leadership, moving, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items safely, with assistance when needed.
• Comfortable working outdoors in Florida weather.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record if required.
• Flexible availability, including weekends.
