Join our team as a Local Roll-Off Driver & Dumpster Rental Coordinator and become an essential part of our growing dumpster rental operations!

This position combines hands-on roll-off truck operation with customer service, rental coordination, and business development. You will be responsible for safely delivering, picking up, and transporting roll-off dumpsters while actively helping generate new dumpster rental opportunities.

The ideal candidate is a dependable, motivated professional who takes pride in safe driving, exceptional customer service, and building relationships with contractors, businesses, and residential customers. We are looking for someone who can not only operate the truck efficiently but also help expand our dumpster rental business.

Duties & Responsibilities

Roll-Off Truck Operations

• Safely operate roll-off trucks while following all traffic laws and DOT regulations.
• Deliver, position, exchange, and pick up roll-off dumpsters at residential, commercial, and construction locations.
• Transport waste materials to approved disposal facilities while following applicable regulations.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and basic mechanical checks to ensure safe truck operation.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, disposal activities, and daily routes.
• Coordinate efficient routes to ensure timely dumpster deliveries and pickups.
• Follow all safety protocols when loading, unloading, and positioning dumpsters.

Dumpster Rental Procurement & Business Development

• Actively seek and procure new dumpster rental opportunities from residential customers, contractors, construction companies, roofing companies, and local businesses.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat rentals and referrals.
• Identify potential customers and promote the company's dumpster rental services while working in the field.
• Respond professionally to rental inquiries and assist customers in selecting appropriate dumpster sizes and rental options.
• Coordinate dumpster rental requests, delivery schedules, pickups, and exchanges with management.
• Identify opportunities to expand the company's dumpster rental customer base and increase rental volume.
• Represent the company professionally and provide outstanding customer service throughout the rental process.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience operating commercial trucks, preferably roll-off trucks or similar equipment.
• Valid CDL of the appropriate class and a clean driving record.
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safe equipment operation.
• Ability to safely maneuver and position dumpsters in residential and commercial settings.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Sales experience or a willingness to actively pursue new dumpster rental customers.
• Ability to build relationships with contractors, property managers, businesses, and homeowners.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshooting.
• Physical ability to perform job-related tasks in varying weather conditions.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
