Job Overview

MUST HAVE VALID CLASS B CDL!

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Front Load Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating front load trucks to collect waste and recyclables from residential and commercial locations. This role requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer service while ensuring that all loads are handled properly and delivered to designated disposal sites.

Duties

• Operate front load trucks safely and efficiently in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling techniques to avoid damage or injury.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding routes, schedules, and any issues that arise during operations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the truck both inside and out, ensuring it meets company standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols while driving, loading, and unloading materials, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Assist in training new drivers as needed on safe driving practices and operational procedures.

Experience

• Previous experience operating a front loader truck or similar heavy-duty vehicle is preferred.
• Experience in heavy lifting and physically demanding work environments is essential.
• Background as a delivery driver or experience with rear loader trucks, dump trucks, or tractor-trailers will be considered an asset.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment are important for success in this role.

Pay: $300.00 - $375.00 per day
