Experienced CDL Roll Off Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Roll Off Driver to join our team. MUST have experience operating a cable style Roll off truck. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating roll-off trucks to transport waste and debris from various job sites. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed. MUST be comfortable with driving an older truck that is standard transmission.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll-off trucks to pick up and deliver containers at designated locations.
• Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials in compliance with safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pick-ups, and any incidents that occur during transportation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding schedules and service needs.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving on public roads.
• Assist in maintenance on of the truck, including cleaning and minor repairs as needed
• Have good professional attitude and be able to communicate with contractors and facility managers

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
• 2 + years Experience driving roll off trucks REQUIRED, experience with various other types of trucks including rear loader trucks, front loader trucks, flatbeds, dump trucks, and tractor-trailers is preferred but not required.
• Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles.
• Ability to load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to waste transportation.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
