Capital Sweeper Services, Inc., an established, family-owned street sweeping and environmental maintenance company serving the Sacramento region, is looking for a dependable, motivated individual to join our team.

We hire for attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn — not previous experience.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands, operating equipment, and learning mechanical skills. We will provide the training necessary to become a skilled street sweeper operator.

This is a hands-on position that combines commercial driving, equipment operation, routine maintenance, and independent responsibility.

What You’ll Do

• Learn to safely operate two different styles of commercial street sweepers.
• Complete assigned daytime sweeping routes throughout the Sacramento area.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Learn to perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Learn how to inspect, adjust, and replace gutter brooms and other sweeper components.
• Keep assigned trucks clean, serviced, and ready for operation.
• Recognize mechanical issues and communicate needed repairs.
• Adapt to changing schedules, routes, and customer requirements.
• Work independently while maintaining communication with management.
• Take pride in providing quality service to our customers.

What We’re Looking For

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• No CDL required.
• No previous street sweeping experience necessary.
• Dependable, punctual, and responsible.
• Willingness to learn equipment operation and mechanical maintenance.
• Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical tasks.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
• Flexible with changing start times and route assignments.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Interest in learning new skills and growing with our company.
