Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our Recycling team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a Front End Loader, Excavator, or water truck to support processing operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, backhoes, excavators, and water trucks with precision and safety awareness.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
• Follow all safety procedures and occupational safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain detailed records of equipment operation, maintenance activities, and safety checks for accountability and compliance.

Skills

• Experience operating construction machinery such as loaders, backhoes, excavators, and water trucks.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical systems, and routine equipment maintenance procedures.
• Ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance using hand tools.
• Familiarity with site safety protocols and occupational safety regulation compliance.
• Ability to understand training manuals and operate heavy equipment in accordance with safety regulations while maintaining high productivity standards.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
