CDL-Rear Loader Trash Truck Driver - Level 1

Resolve Renewable, an Horry County residential trash/recycle pickup business is seeking a dependable and professional rear-load trash truck driver to join our waste collection team. The ideal candidate will focus on safe driving practices, ensuring reliable and timely waste pickup services along designated routes. This role requires starting at 4am and working closely with a helper when needed to efficiently collect waste and recyclables from various locations. The driver must adhere to safety standards, perform vehicle inspections, and maintain excellent customer service throughout the workday

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate rear-load waste collection trucks safely and efficiently according to company policies and traffic laws.
• Work collaboratively with a helper to ensure smooth and effective waste collection.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Collect waste and recyclable materials from assigned routes, maintaining punctuality.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies during daily operations.
• Maintain accurate records of pickups, route completion, and vehicle maintenance reports.
• Provide courteous service to customers and address any concerns professionally.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid and current state of SC Commercial Drivers License
• Acceptable driving record required for the last 5 years (No tickets or accidents)

· Previous work experience in the waste, recycling, or environmental services preferred, but not required

· Strong commitment to safety, dependability, and customer service.

· Strong work ethic and attention to detail

·Ability to operate vehicles in various weather conditions.

Good communication skills and a professional attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
