CDL Licensed Class A Truck Driver

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dependable CDL-licensed Class A Truck Driver to join our Electronic Recycling & Transportation team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating box trucks and delivery vehicles to transport goods efficiently across designated routes. Your expertise in commercial driving, customer service, and warehouse operations will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties

• Safely operate box trucks and delivery vans in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws.
• Load, unload, and secure cargo using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and promptly report any maintenance issues.
• Deliver goods directly to customers’ locations, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring accurate order fulfillment.
• Adhere to route schedules, utilizing mobile devices for navigation and communication to optimize delivery efficiency.
• Assist with warehouse operations, including manual handling, moving inventory, and supporting loading/unloading processes.
• Follow safe lifting practices during all manual handling tasks, especially when managing heavy or bulky items.
• Clean driving record
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.+
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work Monday–Friday (8 AM – 5 PM)
• Saturdays are required based on event schedules and travel distance

Qualifications

• Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with Class A certification required; experience with manual transmission vehicles preferred.
• Prior experience in commercial truck driving, delivery driving, or courier services is highly desirable.
• Warehouse experience, including operation of material-handling equipment such as pallet jacks and carts, is a plus.
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safe driving practices.
• Ability to lift heavy items safely and perform manual handling tasks regularly throughout the shift.
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients.
• Comfortable working in warehouse environments involving moving inventory and operating material handling equipment.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
