About C&M Carting Solutions:

C&M Carting Solutions is a locally owned, full-service waste management company serving Northwest Connecticut. We provide residential, commercial, municipal, waste& recycling, dumpster rentals, and junk removal services.

This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in working safely, efficiently, and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Operate rear, front, and side load,garbage and recycling trucks
• Complete residential, commercial, and municipal collection routes
• Safely operate truck controls and loading equipment
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Complete route and service documentation
• Provide professional customer service
• Identify and report mechanical issues
• Keep equipment clean and properly maintained
• Follow all DOT, company, and safety requirements
• Work independently to complete assigned routes safely and efficiently

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class B license
• Air brake qualification
• Clean driving record
• Reliable attendance and transportation
• Ability to safely operate heavy equipment
• Ability to work independently
• Professional attitude and good customer-service skills
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Garbage or recycling collection experience preferred, but not required

Pay

$20–$28 per hour depending on experience.

Candidates with proven garbage-truck experience and the ability to independently operate a route may qualify for the higher end of the pay range.
