Yard Worker / Material Sorter

Job Overview

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking and motivated individual to assist with daily operations.

Duties

• Maintain cleanliness of the yard by sweeping, cleaning work areas, and ensuring proper disposal of waste and recyclable materials.
• Sort and separate recyclable materials.
• Remove contamination and non-recyclable items.
• Clean the building, recycling containers, machinery, equipment, and other areas as needed.
• Assist with genera labor and other duties based on operational needs.
• Follow all company safety procedures, properly use required safety equipment/ PPE and maintain awareness of equipment and surroundings at all times.

Work Environment:

This is a physically demanding, hands-on position. Employees must be prepared to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain and changing weather conditions and be comfortable working in an active recycling/industrial environment.

Candidates must be dependable, punctual, safety-conscious, able to follow instructions, and willing to assist wherever needed to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workplace.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
