Waste Hauler Rider

Hall’s Waste Management, LLC is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team as a Waste Hauler Rider.

Position: Waste Hauler Rider

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40+ hours per week

Pay: Competitive hourly pay based on experience

Location: Murray, KY and surrounding areas

Job Responsibilities

• Ride on the back of a rear-load garbage truck and assist with residential trash collection
• Safely and efficiently collect and empty customer garbage cans
• Work closely with the truck driver to complete assigned routes
• Be available to fill in as a route driver when needed, which may include temporarily covering an assigned route.
• Lift, push, pull, and maneuver garbage cans throughout the workday
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and route instructions
• Provide courteous and professional service to customers
• Assist with other duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 22 years of age or older
• Reliable and dependable
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Able to perform physically demanding work, including frequent lifting and walking
• Must be able to work early mornings and maintain a consistent schedule
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Must be willing to work as part of a team
• Must be willing and able to fill in on a route when needed, provided all required qualifications for the route are met.
• Previous waste collection, or other physical labor experience is a plus, but not required
