PORTABLE RESTROOM SERVICE DRIVER

Job Overview

Patriot Pottys, a division of ProSeptic LLC, is looking for a reliable, hardworking Portable Restroom Service Driver to join our growing team.

This position involves operating a portable restroom service/pump truck throughout the Hudson Valley to service, clean, deliver, and pick up portable restrooms at construction sites, businesses, events, parks, and other customer locations.

This is not just a driving position. A major part of this job is making sure every portable restroom on your route is pumped, thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, restocked, and left in excellent condition.

We are willing to train the right person. Experience is a plus, but reliability, work ethic, cleanliness, and attention to detail are more important to us.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a portable restroom service/pump truck on an assigned daily route.
• Pump and service portable restrooms using the truck's vacuum and freshwater systems.
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize the inside and outside of each unit.
• Restock toilet paper, sanitizer, deodorizer, and other supplies as required.
• Deliver, set up, relocate, and pick up portable restrooms.
• Make sure every unit is level, secure, clean, and properly positioned before leaving a customer's property.
• Follow assigned routes and complete all scheduled services each day.
• Use our mobile routing/service system to document completed stops, deliveries, pickups, and customer information.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the service truck.
• Keep the truck, equipment, and work area clean and organized.
• Follow all company safety procedures and applicable DOT/traffic regulations.
• Communicate professionally with customers, office staff, and management.
• Immediately report damaged units, inaccessible locations, customer concerns, or equipment problems.
• Assist with washing, preparing, and organizing portable restrooms at our yard when necessary.

What We're Looking For

• Valid driver's license with a clean and acceptable driving record.
• Experience driving trucks or commercial vehicles preferred.
• Previous route-service, septic, sanitation, waste, delivery, landscaping, construction, or similar outdoor work is a plus.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Comfortable working around portable restrooms and wastewater.
• Able to perform physical work throughout the day, including moving and positioning portable restrooms.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Dependable and able to report to work on time every day.
• Able to work independently and manage a route without constant supervision.
• Professional and respectful when dealing with customers.
• Comfortable using a tablet or mobile device for routing and service documentation.

Our customers depend on us to provide clean, dependable portable restrooms. Simply pumping a unit and moving on is not acceptable. Every restroom must be properly cleaned, sanitized, stocked, and ready for the customer before you leave.

We will train the right person on our equipment and procedures. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to the details, and understands that the condition of every unit represents our company.

Compensation

Starting pay based on experience, with opportunities for increased pay as you demonstrate the ability to independently and successfully manage a route.
