Operations Manager in Training

TopDawg Junk Removal is a growing junk removal, demolition and hauling company with over 1,200 five star Google reviews. We are hiring an Operations Manager in Training to work directly under our Athens Operations Manager and learn how to run a branch from the ground up.

This is a hands on role. You will spend time in the truck leading jobs, quoting customers and closing work on site, and time in the office learning scheduling, dispatch, crew management, truck maintenance and customer follow up. The goal is for you to be ready to run day to day operations within 6 to 12 months.

Pay and schedule

• $20 to $23 per hour based on experience, with raises tied to hitting training milestones
• Daily customer tips on field jobs
• Performance based bonuses
• Flexible hours. We will build a schedule around your availability (class schedule, family, second job). Some Saturdays and on call coverage expected as you grow into the role.

What you will do

• Lead a two person crew on junk removal, cleanout and light demo jobs
• Meet customers, assess the job, give upfront pricing and get the job done the same visit
• Learn to schedule crews, dispatch trucks and manage the daily job board in Workiz
• Keep trucks clean, fueled and on their maintenance schedule
• Help onboard and train new crew members
• Handle customer calls, follow ups and reviews when you are not in the field

Who we are looking for

• Reliable, organized and comfortable leading people
• Leadership, customer service, trades or logistics experience preferred but not required
• Valid driver's license with a clean 3 year MVR; comfortable driving a box truck
• Able to lift 75+ lbs regularly and work outdoors
• 18 or older, authorized to work in the US
