Missouri Metal Recycling is a Metal Recycling Center located Webb City, Missouri. As an Employee owned company, We offer safe, yet, rewarding challenges in the work place, which promotes profitability for both Employee and Company.

We are currently seeking an individual to help organize and sort items at our yard. The ideal candidate is responsible, self-motivated, and will be comfortable working alone.

Key Responsibilities

• Sorting and Grading: Separate various types of metals by hand or tool to isolate high-grade materials and remove non-conforming items.
• Loading and Unloading: Move scrap materials manually or use mobile equipment like forklifts and skid steers to load and unload delivery trucks.
• Material Processing: Use hand tools, chop saws, torches, or shears to break down, downsize, or clean scrap components.
• Yard Maintenance: Sweep, clear debris, manage waste, and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace. [1, 2, 3]

Qualifications and Skills

• Physical Strength: Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and remain active outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Safety Focus: Strict adherence to health protocols and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Tool Knowledge: Basic familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and cutting equipment.
• Education: A high school diploma or GED is often preferred but not always required for entry-level work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
