Local Class A Driver- 53ftTrash Trailer

We are seeking a reliable, experienced and highly motivated Class A CDL Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting trash to the landfill 1 hour & 30 mins away.

We also have Container rail yard work which is home everyday.

• Must be able to drive Manual Transmission
• Early start time
• 2 years experience a must
• 2-3 loads a day (some Drop and hook)
• Loads are from KC- Sedalia, MO ($120 a load)
• Potential to make $360 a day (paid by the load)
• $140 a load for every load ran ran to Sedalia after the 10th load
• 1099 position
• The earlier you come in, the earlier you get off in the afternoon and possibility for 3 loads
• No weekends
• Home daily
• Clean driving record

Duties

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Operate trucks in a safe manner observing speed limits and curves
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a safe driving record.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding any potential issues.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and vehicle maintenance.

Skills

• Can not be afraid of driving off road and in mud on rainy days. You will dump in a landfill.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to freight transportation.
• Strong time management skills as this determines your load count for the week.
• Ability to handle physical demands of the job
