Earn More When You Want More Hours

Employees have opportunities for additional earnings through overtime, weekend work, and specialized after-hours emergency response projects.

Entry-level technicians start at $19/hour for regular work and $36/hour for qualifying after-hours emergency projects, with higher base wages available for employees who bring relevant experience and skills.

Out-of-town opportunities are also available. Less than 15% of our work requires overnight travel. When overnight travel is required, private hotel accommodations and per diem are provided by the company at no cost to the employee.

You report to our facility — you aren't responsible for driving your personal vehicle from job site to job site.

What You'll Actually Do

Environmental Field Technicians work alongside our operators and supervisors on a variety of industrial, environmental, and emergency response projects.

Your work may include:

  • Industrial and environmental cleanup
  • Decontamination of structures, machinery, equipment, and buildings
  • Power washing and industrial cleaning
  • Shoveling, sweeping, and material removal
  • Setting up and handling hoses and vacuum equipment
  • Confined-space entry into tanks and pits with required training and safety procedures
  • Operating or assisting with skid-steers, forklifts, vacuum equipment, and other specialized equipment
  • Deploying oil-spill booms and other environmental response equipment
  • Assisting with spill cleanup and Emergency Response projects
  • Maintaining clean, organized, and safe job sites
  • Completing daily reports, time sheets, and required electronic forms
  • Following company, customer, and site-specific health and safety procedures

What We Need From You

  • Valid driver's license
  • Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record
  • Chauffeur's license is a plus
  • Ability to pass required drug and alcohol testing, including marijuana, in accordance with applicable federal/company requirements
  • Ability to pass a satisfactory background check; circumstances are reviewed on a case-by-case basis
  • Ability to pass required HAZWOPER and/or DOT physical requirements, depending on job duties and licensing
  • Ability to safely perform a physically demanding job
  • Ability to lift, carry, and pull hoses/equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability and willingness to follow safety procedures and instructions
