General labor for junk removal

Job Summary

We need you to have reliable transportation for work at different job sites. Philadelphia based jobs but our team does travel for work. We are seeking energetic and reliable individuals to join our team as General Laborers for junk removal services. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently clearing out debris, trash, and unwanted items from residential and commercial properties. Your proactive attitude and physical stamina will help ensure smooth operations, safe work environments, and satisfied customers. Responsibilities

• Safely lift, carry, and load heavy items such as furniture, appliances, and construction debris using proper manual handling techniques.
• Operate various cleaning tools and equipment including pressure washers, industrial vacuums, and hand tools to prepare sites for junk removal or cleaning tasks.
• Use ladders safely to access hard-to-reach areas during cleaning or debris removal projects.
• Maintain cleanliness of work sites by performing routine trash collection, sweeping, dusting, and detailed cleaning using appropriate equipment.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols by wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves, helmets, goggles, and masks; also use fire extinguishers when necessary during fire safety procedures.
• Assist with outdoor tasks like duct cleaning, floor buffing, pressure washing surfaces, and general commercial cleaning to ensure high standards of hygiene and safety.
• Support team members in heavy lifting activities and ensure all tasks comply with safety guidelines while providing excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients.

Experience

• Prior experience in outdoor work or industrial cleaning environments is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is highly valued.
• Familiarity with the use of hand tools, pressure washers, or cleaning equipment is a plus.
• Experience working with safety equipment such as fire extinguishers or PPE demonstrates a strong commitment to safe work practices.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and manual handling throughout the workday.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.

Pay: $80.00 - $100.00 per day
