Job Description

Description:

Lead the Team. Build What Matters.

We’re hiring a Field Operations Supervisor to lead our field crews and ensure best-in-class service across a wide variety of service offerings including:

  • Grease trap pumping, cleaning, replacement & installation
  • Residential & commercial septic and wastewater system maintenance, repair and replacement
  • Storm water system maintenance (Hi-Vac)
  • Drain cleaning
  • Portable toilet rental, delivery, setup, servicing and removal

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll manage people, keep jobs moving, and make sure work gets done safely, on time, and to spec. You’ll also work closely with other operations leaders & support team members, sales and dispatching/logistics. If you’ve got experience in field-based services, know how to lead a crew, and want a path toward bigger leadership roles, we want to talk.

What You’ll Do

  • Run the day-to-day work for a team of field techs — scheduling, coaching, and solving problems in the field
  • Oversee technicians on site — making sure they provide quality service, adhere to policies, and put safety first
  • Help manage job costs, materials, and any needed changes during the work
  • Make sure we’re meeting local permitting and inspection requirements
  • Build strong relationships with your crew, customers, and internal support teams
  • Train and develop team members — we promote from within, and you’ll help make that happen
  • Support the Operations Manager and be ready to step up when needed
Requirements:

What You Bring

  • 3+ years working in an outdoor/field services industry (environmental services, construction, landscaping, etc.)
  • Experience leading a crew or managing field operations
  • Familiarity with water, sewer, pipeline, or septic system work
  • Good with planning, job costing, and change orders
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, team environment
  • Licensed (or willing to become licensed) for septic installation, CDL (class B), heavy equipment operation
  • Strong communication skills

Driving is an essential function of this position. Applicants must possess a valid drivers license and meet WRE's insurability guidelines.

Why This Role?

  • Lead from the front: You’ll be the go-to person for your crew and a key part of branch success
  • Work that matters: We keep our customers critical systems flowing properly — real work, with real impact
  • Room to grow: This is a stepping stone to the Operations Manager role, and we’ll support your development
  • Team culture: We value hard work, doing things the right way, and looking out for each other

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $85,000 - $95,000 per year at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.
