Demolition Heavy Equipment Operator

Sage Demolition is looking for a dependable, experienced heavy equipment operator to run machinery on a variety of demolition projects — from single-family homes to large commercial and industrial structures.

Pay: $25/hr – $40/hr, based on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, skid steers, etc.) on demolition job sites
• Perform demolition work on structures ranging from residential homes to large commercial/industrial buildings
• Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
• Coordinate with site supervisors and crew to maintain safe, efficient job site operations
• Sort and manage debris/materials as needed on-site
• Efficiently load and manage trucks to facilitate removal of materials from job site
• Help line out laborers and crew on job site

Required

• Proven experience operating heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, or similar)
• Drivers license and clean driving record (MVR review required)
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen & adhere to company drug & alcohol policy
• Valid DOT Medical certificate
• Strong sense of punctuality and reliability
• Ability to work in outdoor, active construction/demolition environments

Preferred

• Familiarity with demolition or construction job site operations
• Experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment (crushers, bulldozers, etc)
• Proficient in Spanish
