Responsibilities

• Safely operate a variety of trucks such as roll-off, front loader, rear loader, flatbed, and dump trucks with manual transmissions to deliver and retrieve dumpsters.
• Load and unload dumpsters using appropriate equipment, ensuring secure placement and adherence to safety protocols.
• Drive heavy-duty vehicles over diverse terrains while maintaining compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
• Conduct routine inspections of trucks for mechanical issues, fluid levels, tire condition, and safety features before and after each shift.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate delivery schedules and address any logistical challenges promptly.
• Assist with the maintenance of trucks and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or flatbed trucks.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance checks.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience operating manual transmission vehicles preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly.
• Familiarity with different truck types including roll-off, front loader, rear loader, dump trucks, and flatbeds.
• Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, efficiency, and attention to detail.
• Prior experience in delivery driver roles involving load & unload operations is highly desirable. Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
