COMMERCIAL FRONT LOAD DRIVER - REFUSE AND RECYCLE

Due to continued growth, Local Waste Services is in immediate need of an experienced Commercial Front Load Driver.

Commercial Front Load Drivers safely operate heavy-duty trucks with a front-load hydraulic lift attachment. Drivers are responsible for promptly and professionally collecting and hauling waste on assigned routes across central Ohio. Once loaded to legal capacity, drivers will then haul material to a disposal, transfer, or recycling facility. Successful Commercial Front Load Drivers exhibit a strong awareness of their surroundings, a constant focus on safety, and are highly motivated to succeed.

Job Description

· Provide Front Load waste & recycling service throughout Central Ohio

· Properly performs pre/post-trip inspections completing all required documentation

· Reports service issues, such as blocked alleyways, over-weight containers, safety hazards, or blocked containers

· Works with supervisors to continuously improve routes, grid new customers, and address any service issues or concerns

· Reports any necessary container repairs to dispatch

· Immediately reports any and all safety related incidents to a supervisor

· Clears waste from packer blade and truck body after dumping each load

· Follows route assignments as directed and completes end of day documentation

Driver Requirements

· Must be at least 20 years of age

· Minimum 2-year of Front Load experience

· Must have a clean driving record

· Current and valid Class B CDL and DOT Medical Card

· Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening

· Able to work 3rdShift

· Legally eligible to work in the United States

Driver Benefits include but are not limited to
