Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION: Employee shall be responsible for the daily operation of the wastewater treatment process, ongoing regenerations and permit compliance.


Primary Responsibility

  • In Tank Regenerations
  • Wastewater Treatment - Physical/Chemical Precipitation
  • Filter Press Operation and maintenance
  • Wastewater Metals Analysis (Lab)
  • Responsible for Water discharge Compliance
  • Chemical Inventory Control (Bulk and Drum)
  • Process improvement

Secondary Responsibility

  • Bulk Resin Regeneration
  • General Plant Maintenance
  • Loading and Unloading Trucks
  • All other tasks as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years Industrial Chemical operating experience or chemistry degree
  • Valid driver’s license with no outstanding issues
  • Shift Flexibility

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to operate a forklift
  • Must be able to use hand tools

work environment

Required to work in a standing position to complete the daily work and work in a wet and damp environment some time in the laboratory.
