Key Responsibilities:

• Verify paperwork for vehicles and verify parts are in usable condition
• Must be able to use AC machine to evacuate AC system
• Safely use propane torches and other cutting equipment (Sawzall, Partner saw)
• Safely drain fluids such as motor oil, anti-freeze, and transmission fluid into environmentally friendly containers
• Efficiently remove and dispose of gas tanks, batteries, wheels, and tires
• Expertly cut and remove catalytic converters and dismantle exhaust systems
• Disassemble front and rear components, including the K-Frame, steering rack, motor, and transmission
• Handle fuse boxes and ECMs with precisionResponsible for tagging parts correctly and placing in proper location to be collected by inventory personnel
• Prepare vehicles to leave bay and be placed in yard
• Follow safety regulations, fill out paperwork correctly and communicate any problems or issues with management and work with minimal assistance
• Must be prepared & work with minimal assistance

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. repetitively
• 1-3 years of hands-on automotive repair/dismantling experience or equivalent
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of vehicle parts
• Proficiency in operating a cutting torch and forklift (training provided if needed)
• Capability to sit, stand, walk, and climb as required
• Training provided
