Supervisor Recycling Production/Shredder Supervisor

Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Shredder Supervisor to lead our e-waste shredding team. This role is responsible for driving performance, maintaining production flow, and ensuring a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead daily operations of shredding e-waste to ensure maximum uptime and productivity
• Oversee preventative maintenance, repairs, and equipment performance
• Monitor production output, quality, and material sorting to minimize contamination
• Supervise and coach team members to ensure safe and efficient work practices
• Enforce PPE compliance and maintain a clean, organized work environment
• Track and manage inventory of parts, tools, and production supplies
• Review production and maintenance data to identify performance improvements
• Coordinate staffing and schedules based on operational demands
• Partner with leadership on labor planning, cost control, and process improvements
• Support timekeeping, training, and ongoing employee development

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing, recycling, or industrial operations
• 1+ year of lead or supervisory experience required
• Strong mechanical awareness and ability to work around heavy equipment
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Work Environment

• Industrial warehouse setting with exposure to machinery, dust, and noise
• Frequent walking and occasional lifting, bending, and reaching
• Must follow all safety protocols

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
