Septic Truck Operator/Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pump Truck Driver/Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Class A or B with tanker endorsement Commercial Drivers License and a strong background in Septic systems. We are willing to train on septic systems, however, the CDL is required for this position. This role requires a hands-on approach to maintaining, and repairing various systems while ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service as well as driving/operating the pump truck. You would be working alongside the owner in the pump truck daily, completing pump jobs, perk test pits, and septic inspections. The Service Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities

• Perform Maintenance and emergent septic pumping at residential and commercial properties.
• Locate septic systems using probes and electronic locators.
• Drive company vehicles to various job sites while adhering to safety regulations.
• Operate machinery and some hand digging to access systems.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding service needs and recommendations.
• Keep vehicles and equipment up to date with proper maintenance.

Requirements

• Some experience in septic service or similar fields.
• Some knowledge of septic systems and how they function is a plus.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 75lbs on a regular basis.
• Valid and clean Class A or B with tanker endorsement CDL.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Drug-Free Environment with pre-employment and random drug screening.
