Septic Truck Driver

Job Summary
Jet Septic & Plumbing Services is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Septic Tank Pump Truck Driver / CDL Required to join our team. In this role, you will operate a vacuum truck to pump, clean, and service septic systems at residential and commercial sites. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, a clean driving record, and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class B pump truck to clean septic tanks
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip maintenance Routing daily pumping schedules
• Communicate with customers informing them of their needs and educating them on our services performed
• Properly locate and evaluate septic tanks Digging and backfilling septic tanks
• Performing septic tank evaluation forms and drawing as-builts
• Recommend adequate service frequency with customers
• Operating other trucks and equipment to assist the team as needed Interpersonal

Experience

• MUST HAVE a Valid Class B CDL driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating septic pump trucks or similar heavy equipment w/ experience of two or more years
• Knowledge of plumbing systems, septic tank operation, and wastewater management.
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the wastewater industry.
• Basic mechanical skills for minor repairs and maintenance of equipment.
• DOT physical required

Work Schedule & Compensation:

• Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with occasional weekends or after-hours emergency calls.
• Pay: starting at $25.00 / hour, depending on experience.
